Welcome to the 'Best of the Best' of the participant submissions from the Fall Nature Photography Workshop with John E. Marriott at CMH Bugaboo Lodge from September 7-10, 2010, as judged by John and CMH guide/photographer Lyle Grisedale. The workshop was sold out and while we didn't have the best of weather, the participants did an excellent job of working in the conditions we encountered. As you can see, they had no trouble finding a wide variety of intimate scenes to photograph when the big grand scenes simply weren't available. And on the final day when the clouds did part for us, they managed to capture some glorious big landscapes, as well.

R. John Knight was our Best Overall Image winner, while Michael Lichtenstein won for Best Signature Image of the Bugaboo Mountains, Jeff Reglin and Sherrill Knight tied for the Best Out of the Clouds image, and Joe Horler won the prestigious Most Improved Photographer award.

All in all it was a great workshop and we're now looking forward to the 2011 wildflower photography workshop with John from August 5-8, 2011.
